In mid-September 2024, following the completion of her chemotherapy treatment, Princess Catherine held a pivotal meeting at Windsor Castle concerning her Early Years Project.
This initiative is a central component of the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which she co-founded with Prince William in 2021.
The meeting marked her return to official duties and underscored her unwavering commitment to early childhood development.
On November 19, 2024, Princess Catherine convened another private session at Windsor Castle with her Early Years team. This gathering occurred just before a high-profile Diplomatic Corps Reception at Buckingham Palace, which she opted to miss, highlighting her dedication to the Early Years initiative.

Resumption of Public Engagements
After announcing her cancer remission, Princess Catherine resumed public engagements. On January 27, 2025, she and Prince William attended a ceremony in London commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
During the event, they met with Holocaust survivors, including Steven Frank and Yvonne Bernstein, whom Catherine had previously photographed for a Royal Photographic Society exhibition in 2020.
On January 30, 2025, Princess Catherine visited the Tŷ Hafan children’s hospice in South Wales, where she was named the new patron, a role previously held by King Charles since 2001.
