As 2025 comes to an end, people get ready for the holiday season and, of course, the accompanying sales and deals.
Since Amazon is the biggest online retail service in the world, it’s all but guaranteed to hold some kind of sale.
So, if you live in the UK and are in the market for some household items, electronics, and other devices, and were just waiting for a deal, then this is the perfect time to splurge.
So, let’s check out which kinds of sales and deals you can expect to get on Amazon UK this holiday season.
December 2025 Amazon Deals (Ongoing and Expected)
Let’s check out the various deals available on Amazon and the upcoming ones at the end of 2025.
Last-Minute Holiday Deals (Now to 24 December)
With the Holidays almost upon us, you will find that Amazon UK has various deals and discounts in place. However, they are not under one banner. Instead, you can just go to the following sections to find items on sale:
- Amazon Haul
- The Christmas Shop
- Today’s Deals.
Items on these sales belong to numerous categories, so you are sure to find something that you need. The most popular categories are:
- Electronics and accessories
- Smart home devices
- Toys and board games
- Beauty gift sets
- Home and kitchen essentials
One thing to keep in mind is that many of these sales and deals may appear as flash deals. So it is a good idea to check the “Today’s Deals” section everyday so that you don’t miss anything.
Amazon Boxing Day Sale UK (26 December 2025)
Boxing Day remains one of the biggest online shopping days in the UK, and Amazon is no exception. The Boxing Day sale typically begins either on the late 25th December or early on the 26th.
This sale is great for people who have a lot of gift cards and vouchers ready or missed their chance to do some pre-holiday shopping.
Popular categories that go on sale during Boxing Day include:
- TVs, laptops, and audio devices
- Gaming consoles and accessories
- Fitness equipment and smart wearables
- Furniture and home décor
- Fashion and footwear
So, if you are looking to upgrade your personal computer or buy a new one, this is the sale you need to wait for. And you need to make it count because in the current RAMmageddon, all types of electronics are seeing huge price hikes.
Naturally, with such expensive purchases, you will also need to keep a 3rd eye on your packages (as Amazon sometimes misreports during high-volume sales periods or when other companies are handling transit). So, you will need to use third-party parcel tracking services to keep an eye on your shipments, because you don’t want to misplace them.
End-of-Year Clearance Deals (27 to 30 December)
After Boxing Day, Amazon usually shifts toward end-of-year clearance pricing. This phase focuses on clearing remaining stock before 2026 and often includes some of the deepest discounts of the season. However, you also won’t find many good items in this sale because they are only leftovers. But who knows, you might find a diamond in the rough, so don’t disregard it.
You can expect to see the following types of goods on sale::
- Winter clothing and footwear
- Seasonal décor and holiday items
- Overstocked electronics
- Small kitchen appliances
- Office and productivity products
Prices can change daily, so frequent checking helps secure the best value. One thing to note is that delivery timings will be lax during this period; in fact, you shouldn’t expect any delivery to be on time before the new year phase is over. However, parcel tracking services should show you accurate delivery times so you can check them and anticipate when deliveries will be completed.
Amazon New Year Deals 2026 (31 December to 1 January)
While Amazon UK does not always officially label a New Year sale, discounts around 31 December and 1 January are common. You may find them under the new year section or any section themed around new beginnings and fresh starts.
Since many people create New Year’s resolutions about their health, habits, and diet, you will find that the categories on sale reflect that too. Common categories on sale will be:
- Health and wellness products
- Home workout equipment
- Planners, organizers, and stationery
- Mobile phones and accessories
- Beauty and self-care items
The same concerns about delivery times that we discussed earlier will apply, so keep those in mind.
Best Categories to Shop Before the New Year 2026
Some product categories consistently offer better value during late December than later in January. Since they are on clearance sale, the discounts are deep, and the deals are good. These include the following.
- Electronics, especially older-generation models
- Home storage, bedding, and organization tools
- Winter fashion and outerwear
- Fitness gear aimed at year-end resolutions
These categories are particularly good because even if you get “older versions” of the products, they are still good and useful and provide great value for money. Mobile phones, for example, are excellent even if you get something from last year; the technology has kind of stagnated, and newer phones are not breaking that much ground.
Final Thoughts
So, there you have it, the last-minute guide to Amazon UK sales for the coming holiday season. These should help you make the best buying decisions without falling for sale bait and get something that actually helps you.
To recap, you have four distinct sales. One is ongoing and is a general sale of all types of goods. The second sale is great for snagging electronics. The third sale is a clearance sale and is great for snagging clothes and household items/equipment. Finally, you have the new year sale in which various workout equipment will be on sale. That’s how you can maximize your gains with Amazon Sales.
